When I was a kid I watched a lot of Star Trek. Recently I viewed some images online of galaxies and other deep space phenomena. I decided to try to make some images like that using photography and digital imaging technology. This is the result... or one of them at least. It looks to me like a blend between Hubble photos and a backdrop from an episode of the original series...
